Bending and Hardening Plants
In regard to the bending and hardening process for spring plates we provide several different technical solutions.
Beside conventional so-called “combined bending and quenching” equipment, such as travel frame machines or drum type hardening machines, we also offer the so-called “free quenching technology”.
Whereby – as a matter of fact – free quenching equipment won recognition for the OEM market. Since two decades such free-quenching lines are the state of the art solution.
Free quenching plants are characterized by high productivity, low set up times (quick change over) as well as lower investment costs.
It is mandatory to use a special control system for the process supervision in order to achieve products in closest tolerances.
WEISS engineers base on decades of experience in regard to the free quenching process and took a leading part in the development of this technology.
